I'm George, nice to meet you.
I recently graduated the University of Exeter with a 1st Class BEng. I am an Associate at KPMG UK, where I am now a Part Qualified ACA.
I have experience in Audit, Valuations, and Equity Research which I have built on a background of Engineering.
Interests
To an Engineer, nothing is more satisfying than solving a problem.
I started tinkering with cars at 14, eventually turning that passion into a gainful little business. That same curiosity and desire to understand how things work later drew me into the world of finance.
Whether solving the problem means lifting the bonnet, writing code, or diving through a 200-page Annual Report, the need to truly understand something - and build the solution - has always been paramount.
After reading all the Finance Classics (think 'The Intelligent Investor', 'The Alchemy of Finance'...) during a long summer before my First Year at University, I realised I should break into the space.
After 2 years, I do not regret it...
